Option Two is a provision in NJ education code that allows LEAs to offer students credit for educational courses and experiences taken outside of the high school. The R4CC team is supporting the NJDOE by analyzing current use of the Option Two program; revising Option Two requirements and guidance to districts; and developing a plan to engage districts, teachers/guidance counselors, students and families in understanding and utilizing the Option Two program, particularly among underserved populations.
